He Believes In You!!!

Do you believe that God believes in you??? Do YOU Believe in Yourself??? Do you believe in Others???

I know He believes in us even when we fall down, because He is there waiting to meet us halfway. Even when you can’t hear or see him, he is cheering you on and he is there to guide your path! I know it is hard to believe in yourself when you don’t hear or see anyone giving you that encouragement, but trust me he is right there with you believing in you even when you mess up!

Mark 9:23 “If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who Believes.”

I was at a Toby Mac concert last night and I had a field day, but after my mom mentioned that the other family who joined us in the box(company box at the arena) mentioned that their eight year old doesn’t see the difference of skin color. The mom was a little worried by what our response would be, but for most of my childhood I didn’t see the difference of skin color! Heck I didn’t now what racism was until we moved to Louisiana and my siblings and I encountered reverse racism! God doesn’t care what your skin color is if he did we would all be the same color!!! There’s a good amount of us that see SKIN COLOR first when we should see skin color last. Skin color doesn’t make you, your love for Jesus makes you! WOULD YOU WANT TO BE AVOIDED BY SOMEONE, BECAUSE OF YOUR SKIN TONE? I wouldn’t and I have been avoided, because of my skin tone it makes you feel awful just awful. If I meet someone the last thing I want to notice is their skin tone, because under everything else the only thing left is a Son or Daughter of God! Yes, they may be a different color, but that doesn’t mean anything other than they are unique! Your not the color of your skin, neither is anyone else!!!

Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment. John 7:24

Last night My Youth Pastor brought up an interesting topic. He had us ask ourselves about persecution and how we can bless those who persecute us! He has a valid point, because a lot of our reactions or just plain actions can depict things we don’t want to show. We can show Jesus is all of our actions and reactions. Matthew 5:10-12

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

We are often persecuted for our beliefs, who we are, and many other things. No being persecuted does not feel good, but it doesn’t mean we have to hurt ourselves by treating them the same way. God says Matthew 7:12

Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

We can choose to ignore, forgive, or wish good on them. It can be silently forgiving and wishing/praying good on them. Or you can help them in class/work by writing things down from a class/meeting they missed. It can even be somebody you have never met and might never see again. Doesn’t have to be something huge could even just being a friend even when they don’t want one! Showing them Jesus in your actions even if it is small can show them love they have never seen. I’ve yelled and screamed at God in anger and he has still shown up when I would have been ignored by others. He loves unconditionally, but he also has his own way of punishing those who persecute others! Vengeance is not your’s or mine to take it is God’s to take, and he will handle it!

Time! What is Your Time Spent Doing???

Hello sorry it’s been a while sense I’ve posted anything it’s just been a bit of a bumpy ride. I’ve realized that I’ve been pushing what Jesus wants from us down your throat, but you already know what he wants from us you just don’t know how you can do what he asks of you. When you scroll through your Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feed. What do you normally see? Normally you see happy pictures, updates on how someone is, and many other important things, but there are many things we tend to scroll past and a lot of them could mean something if we took the time to read them. A lot of my Facebook feed is filled with stories about mistreatment towards people, other people purely complaining about random things or people standing up for others and trying to be a peacemaker! I don’t know what bothers you that you see on a regular basis. Or do you skip over all these things to see what the hottest fashion trends are or what the hottest truck/sports car is? Or worse do you spend your time bullying someone and tearing them down? What is the only common object in this? Time the one thing that roles by while you do something! Time is important, because you can either spend your time saving someone and building them up or spend your time tearing them down and destroying them. Are you gonna use your time to save someone or are you gonna use it to kill them? I know kill is a harsh word, but it’s the right word. Cause when your tearing someone down their dying on the inside even if you don’t see it on the outside! What is your time spent doing? I’m not sure if your understanding what I’m asking, but Jesus spent his time being criticized and then saving those who criticized him. He spent his whole life doing that and some took a lot of time to save. It takes seconds to break someone, but it takes forever to put someone back together even then their not fully together, because nothing broken can truly be fixed 100% cause there is still that spot that shows they’ve been broken, but they can reach 99.9%. Do you want to destroy other’s or build them up? Think on it!!!

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to hearers. Ephesians 4:29 (NKJV)

There are so many new things we learn every day. Sometimes we learn them on good days, but most of them we probably learn after we have messed up. We learn so much and yet sometimes we have to be taught these lessons over and over again until they stick. I have learned many times that it takes practice to perfect something let it be baking a cake or knitting a scarf. Jesus knows we may back track and make the same mistakes sometimes, but he also knows we keep working at what we mess up. We fall sometimes then we get up and a good amount of the time we  need help getting up let it be support of a friend or family member or just a memory that keeps reminding us to fight for what we believe! He knows that sometimes it takes us sometime to get back up and push forward. The best part is that he believes in us so much that even when we don’t get up immediately, but we still get up! We learn how to be who he wants us to be everyday even if we don’t see it. Life teaches us something everyday like: knowing when to keep our mouths shut, when to speak, and there are so many more examples. Sometimes the lesson isn’t very clear or it is clear, but it so clear that you don’t even realize what you were meant to learn until your put in the same situation. The bible says in Revelations 3:10

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

Jesus wants us to keep believeing so that one day we can meet him face to face. Jesus gave us free will, because he believes and trusts us to make the right choices. The lessons he has waiting are most likely at one point or another be intriguing or puzziling trust him through them and you will learn wonderful things.

I Love yall so stay safe and hope yall read the next post!

We all get chances and we all give people more chances than they probably think they are worth! The funny part of this is we sometimes forget that God gave us his only Son to die on the cross and he was 100% perfect. I know we forget, because more than half the time if I do something wrong I used to internally beat myself up for what ever it would have been. I still do sometimes it’s slowly becoming less and less, but I still have trouble snapping out of it without help. You see we all think we our worth is very little, but all we have to do is read John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

We can’t even come close to being that much like Jesus, but every morning is another chance for us to show Jesus to the world, to the people we love and care for! He gives us more chances than anyone else in existence and the reason is simple, because he loves us unconditionally and unendingly! He forgives us no matter what we do, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t strict it just means he will give us another chance to get it right. The point is he wants us to give others chances when they mess up! That doesn’t mean that if someone breaks your trust  you have to go back to trusting them fully it just means you give them another chance to earn your trust back! I have given up on people and it has hurt, but the thing is the people I gave up on were so stuck in their own ways that it had become painful for me!

Who Are You?

Who are you when there is no ones looking? Seriously who are you? I’m not gonna list out a bunch of examples, because this is serious and we all need to think about it! We are all unique it may just take a while for us to notice the way we are unique! With or without others around we are Jesus’s children no matter what we do! We are who he made us to be even when others don’t like who he has made us to  be! He will bring you to people who you will be with forever and those who are just temporarily in your life. I know it’s hard to be who you are I had a lot of trouble being who I was and I am supposed to be. I locked myself away I still had my beliefs and ideals, but I let them be quieted by fear! Then a friend of mine said something that we can’t say is true and I defended with scripture as did she. Neither one of us can truly say we won that discussion, because we both lost a friend and she probably thinks I am in the wrong. I am okay with that honestly, because it pulled me out of my dazed robotic attitude!

Love First!

Who loved you first? That seems like a difficult question, but it really isn’t that hard. Most would say their parents, but those who believe in who created them will say Jesus! Jesus teaches us a great lesson on loving before judging! We all know that can be hard, because there are so many things we can judge before we even say a word. The thing is what if you judge someone who could be your best friend in the world before even saying a word to them. Jesus paid our debt without knowing for sure which path we’d choose, but he believes in us to make the right choice even when others don’t! He loved us before he made us and he made us all! Love first even when the response you get is unkind, because when you love first your showing Jesus! It hurts to show love first, but it will give you a reward so sweet that your heart will feel like it’s overflowing even when it hurts!

Hello I apologize for not blogging for a while it’s been busy! My family bought a house and then we moved my grandma from Dallas to San Antonio! Their were a lot of changes at once and it was a lot to get used to! I hope yall are doing fine! Now to the point of this post! We all go through different changes in life or things around us change loss of family members, schools change, groups of friends, and their are so many more. Some are easy to get used to, and some are hard to get used to. I used to think change was all bad, but sometimes it is just what you need to save your life! Some things have to change so we can see what’s hurting us. If we don’t change certain things we can hurt the people we care about. We have to watch what we change or we can put ourselves in the line of fire! If we change how we treat others or how we speak to others we can save each other from getting hurt or we can hurt each other. What changes should we make to our lives if we want to help ourselves and the people we encounter on a daily basis? That’s all I have for today by yall! Sincerely Marjorie

Suicidal Thoughts!

Hey yall sorry about not being on for a while I had been pretty depressed. And before you judge the title I know about suicidal thoughts, because I have been at that fork in the road where you choose the path that leads to life or death! I know that there are a lot of reasons behind suicide like: bullying, feeling alone, unwanted, being told you shouldn’t exist or that you were just a mistake, and many more. The thing is no one is a mistake or shouldn’t exist, because we wouldn’t be here today if there wasn’t a reason for God creating us! The reason I decided to talk about suicide today is cause my mom saw how depressed I had been after my Poopha passed away and I couldn’t hold the pain back anymore! So I told her how suicidal thoughts had been plaguing my mind off and on since the end of 5th grade. I know how it feels to be hated, rejected, threatened, and to feel like your whole world is falling apart. My mom told me a few times that people who don’t like you are just jealous of you! I wouldn’t suggest saying that to anyone’s face unless you know for certain they are jealous! God Loves us we are all created for a different purpose. I would suggest listening to Fingerprints of God by Steven Curtis Chapman a few times and looking at the lyrics closely! Gods’ fingerprints are on us, and we also have specific gifts that he has incorporated into who we are. We also have people who care about us if we left them by taking our own lives we would be hurting them. I know how bad it hurts for nobody to care or even notice you in school that is, but we always have people around us who care! If we take ourselves out of the fight we are destroying them hope we give to the people we love that love us back! We have to stay strong, because hurting ourselves hurts God!

Psalm 34:17-18

17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears
and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.

God loves us so much and he only gives us tests that he knows we can overcome, that is as long as we forget our faith in him! Please know suicide is never the answer! Anyone who needs to know they are loved you are God loves you and hey if you need a friend email me. Adios Mi Amigos!
