Do you believe that God believes in you??? Do YOU Believe in Yourself??? Do you believe in Others???
I know He believes in us even when we fall down, because He is there waiting to meet us halfway. Even when you can’t hear or see him, he is cheering you on and he is there to guide your path! I know it is hard to believe in yourself when you don’t hear or see anyone giving you that encouragement, but trust me he is right there with you believing in you even when you mess up!
Mark 9:23 “If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who Believes.”
I was at a Toby Mac concert last night and I had a field day, but after my mom mentioned that the other family who joined us in the box(company box at the arena) mentioned that their eight year old doesn’t see the difference of skin color. The mom was a little worried by what our response would be, but for most of my childhood I didn’t see the difference of skin color! Heck I didn’t now what racism was until we moved to Louisiana and my siblings and I encountered reverse racism! God doesn’t care what your skin color is if he did we would all be the same color!!! There’s a good amount of us that see SKIN COLOR first when we should see skin color last. Skin color doesn’t make you, your love for Jesus makes you! WOULD YOU WANT TO BE AVOIDED BY SOMEONE, BECAUSE OF YOUR SKIN TONE? I wouldn’t and I have been avoided, because of my skin tone it makes you feel awful just awful. If I meet someone the last thing I want to notice is their skin tone, because under everything else the only thing left is a Son or Daughter of God! Yes, they may be a different color, but that doesn’t mean anything other than they are unique! Your not the color of your skin, neither is anyone else!!!
Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment. John 7:24
GOD DOESN’T CARE WHAT SOMEONE’S SKIN TONE! HE MADE US DIFFERENT COLORS FOR A REASON, SO YOU SHOULDN’T CARE WHAT COLOR SOMEONE ELSE IS EITHER!
Last night My Youth Pastor brought up an interesting topic. He had us ask ourselves about persecution and how we can bless those who persecute us! He has a valid point, because a lot of our reactions or just plain actions can depict things we don’t want to show. We can show Jesus is all of our actions and reactions. Matthew 5:10-12
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
We are often persecuted for our beliefs, who we are, and many other things. No being persecuted does not feel good, but it doesn’t mean we have to hurt ourselves by treating them the same way. God says Matthew 7:12
Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
We can choose to ignore, forgive, or wish good on them. It can be silently forgiving and wishing/praying good on them. Or you can help them in class/work by writing things down from a class/meeting they missed. It can even be somebody you have never met and might never see again. Doesn’t have to be something huge could even just being a friend even when they don’t want one! Showing them Jesus in your actions even if it is small can show them love they have never seen. I’ve yelled and screamed at God in anger and he has still shown up when I would have been ignored by others. He loves unconditionally, but he also has his own way of punishing those who persecute others! Vengeance is not your’s or mine to take it is God’s to take, and he will handle it!
There are so many new things we learn every day. Sometimes we learn them on good days, but most of them we probably learn after we have messed up. We learn so much and yet sometimes we have to be taught these lessons over and over again until they stick. I have learned many times that it takes practice to perfect something let it be baking a cake or knitting a scarf. Jesus knows we may back track and make the same mistakes sometimes, but he also knows we keep working at what we mess up. We fall sometimes then we get up and a good amount of the time we need help getting up let it be support of a friend or family member or just a memory that keeps reminding us to fight for what we believe! He knows that sometimes it takes us sometime to get back up and push forward. The best part is that he believes in us so much that even when we don’t get up immediately, but we still get up! We learn how to be who he wants us to be everyday even if we don’t see it. Life teaches us something everyday like: knowing when to keep our mouths shut, when to speak, and there are so many more examples. Sometimes the lesson isn’t very clear or it is clear, but it so clear that you don’t even realize what you were meant to learn until your put in the same situation. The bible says in Revelations 3:10
Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
Jesus wants us to keep believeing so that one day we can meet him face to face. Jesus gave us free will, because he believes and trusts us to make the right choices. The lessons he has waiting are most likely at one point or another be intriguing or puzziling trust him through them and you will learn wonderful things.
I Love yall so stay safe and hope yall read the next post!
God surrounds us with love no matter how much we mess up or how bad we treat others. When shown unconditional love it can change their whole out look on that situation! If we all showed unconditional love to somebody we can change the world one person at a time! You never know what could happen if show people kindness, and compassion! Love is one thing that never runs out! The way you love some one can change. Lets spread Gods love one heart at a time! I challenge whoever reads this to go up to someone they don’t know or that they don’t like and start to show them someone cares! You don’t have to, but if you do you might see yourself change in a good way. Love is everlasting and it needs to be shared to the dark parts of this world!
Hello my name is Marjorie. This blog is about who God wants you to be not what the world wants you to be. I have struggled with being who God wants me to be and who the world wants me to be for many years now. I can honestly say it has almost broken up all of my relationships with my friends and my family members. While I was trying to fit in and be me I was struggling to keep both sides happy. I was bullied for being different and not only for having a twin sister, but even worse than you would expect cause she only had one hand. I knew it would be difficult I just didn’t expect it to be that bad. So the reason I decided to write this blog is cause no one should have their confidence and belief in other people, because some jerk thinks you should be just like every single person on the planet. So basically they want the whole entire planet to be one gigantic uniformed school were every one is the exact same. No expression of their separate personality’s and so everybody would be a walking brick different color bricks, but bricks all the same. If anyone needs to contact me hit the menu button and then the contact button and you should find my email. feel free to email me just make sure you put where you found my email so that I don’t freak out thanks for reading. Bye Marjorie
